Submission of manuscripts is totally online. If you are a new user to the on-line system please register and enter the requested information. If you are already a registered user, please do not register again. Please log-in by entering your user id and password to access your account.

 Manuscripts preparation guidelines Top


1.1 The body of your manuscript should contain the following: On the First page provide the Title of the paper, Authors’ names, Contact Address (including telephone and FAX numbers and email ids), Abstract, Keywords (at least six) and on the second page onwards provide the following: Main text, Acknowledgements (if any), Appendix (if any), References, Figure Captions, Tables and Figures. Use double spacing, wide margins and single column, 12 pt font size and standard fonts and number all the pages. You can upload electronic files either in word or pdf format. However, PDF formats are preferred. SI units should be used where possible. All equations must be numbered consecutively.

2.1 Reference to a journal paper should be given as per the following example:
[1] A. Rahman, J. Guo, S. Datta, and M. S. Lundstrom, “Theory of ballistic nanotransistors,” IEEE Trans. Electron Devices, vol. 50, pp. 1853-64, September 2003.
2.2 Reference to a conference paper should be given as per the following example:
[2] J. Wang and M. Lundstrom, “Does source-to-drain tunneling limit the ultimate scaling of MOSFETs?” in International Electron Devices Meeting Tech. Digest, San Francisco, Dec. 2002, pp. 707 – 710.
2.3 Reference to a book should be given as per the following example:
[3] S. Datta, Quantum Transport: Atom to Transistor. Cambridge University Press, 2005.
All reference must be shown as numbers in a square bracket and must be listed in the same order
as given in the list of references.
All tables must be given suitable captions and must be numbered consecutively.

 Manuscript Length & Processing Top

3.1 The length of a manuscript should be of 6 printed pages including Figures, References, Authors’ Bios and Photos. If the printed pages of the approved manuscript exceed 6 pages, the Authors will be charged per printed page exceeding six printed pages @ Rs.1000/- (for Indian Authors) and @ USD 50 (for Foreign Authors).

3.2 We expect to complete the review process within about 3 months. Authors will be intimated about the acceptance/rejection of the manuscript by the Editor-in-Chief. If the manuscript requires a revision, authors need to prepare a point-by-point response to the reviewers’ comments and identify these changes in the revised manuscript. Authors are given 4 – 6 weeks for submitting the revision. Authors can monitor the progress of their manuscript by visiting the journal’s website and by using the author’s account. Authors can also contact the handling Editor for any questions regarding their manuscript.

4.1 All authors must submit biodata in the following format only along with the Pass-port size photographs.

S. Devi received Ph.D. in Engineering from Tezpur University in the year 2008. M.E. degree from Regional Engineering College (Presently NIT), Raurkala, Orissa, in 1997. B. Tech degree in Electronics and communication engineering, in 1994. In 1997, she joined the Deptt. of Radiology, University of Utah as Research Assistant. On returns to India, she joined NERIST, India as a Lecturer in the Deptt. of Electronics and Communication and subsequently become a faculty in the Deptt. of Computer Science and Engineering in same Institute in 1999. She is presently working as Associate Professor in the Deptt. of Electronics and Communication Engineering at National Institute of Technical Teachers' Training and Research, Chandigarh, India. Her interests include, Medical Image Processing and Soft computing Techniques. She has contributed 130 technical papers in various journals and conference. She is a life member of ISTE, member of IEEE and IETE. Since 2004, she has completed 03 sponsored projects.

6.1 Authors are required to transfer the copyright to IETE which can be uploaded while submitting article online. Either all the authors or at least one author representing all the authors should sign the copyright form. A scanned copy of the copyright form should be uploaded in the system in ‘Article Cycle’ page.
